Cable Assemblies – Type 13 (Tab Left End / Cable Ring Right End)

Cable Assemblies are ideal for attaching removable alignment pins and other tooling components. High-strength stranded wire cable with a green nylon coating. Type 13 assemblies (shown here) have a Cable Tab at the left end and a Cable Ring at the right end. This type of assembly is available in #1, #2, and #3 cable diameters, in steel and stainless steel. Made in USA.

Specify cable-assembly length in inches to one decimal place, from 3.0" minimum to 144.9" maximum. Finished-assembly length tolerance is +/-1/4" up to 24" long. Example part number for a Type 13 steel cable assembly using size #2 cable, 12" long:

To complete the part number, first specify Cable Tab size, e.g. .194TABA for Cable Tab CL-.194-TAB-A (.194" hole for #10 screw, aluminum):

CL-132-KA-12.0-.194TABA-x

Finally, specify Cable Ring size, by adding the number 8 for Cable Ring CL-8-KR (1/2" diameter).

Optional Uncrimped End

To order Cable Assemblies with an uncrimped ferrule (for installation), add a suffix to the part number:

-L For uncrimped left end

-R For uncrimped right end

-LR For both ends uncrimped

Safety Precautions

Do not use these Cable Assemblies for lifting or high-tension applications.

Steel:

Cable > Galvanized steel stranded wire, nylon coated. Ferrules > Copper, electro tin plated. Cable Tabs (Aluminum) > 6061 aluminum alloy, clear anodized. Cable Tabs (Stainless) > 300-series stainless, passivated. Cable Ring > Spring steel, black oxide finish. DFARS and RoHS compliant.

Stainless Steel:

Cable > Stainless steel stranded wire, nylon coated. Ferrules > Copper, electro tin plated. Cable Tabs (Aluminum) > 6061 aluminum alloy, clear anodized. Cable Tabs (Stainless) > 300-series stainless, passivated. Cable Ring > 300-series stainless. RoHS compliant.
